The portable fishing pole holder is a device that allows a fishermen to securely and reliably anchor a fishing pole at the fishing hole. He or she simply walks to the fishing spot, places the base on the ground and twists the handle to anchor the device. The fisherman casts to the desired location, places the pole inside the enclosure, and closes the latch. The fishermen is then free to move about and keep an eye on the fishing pole for a catch.
